Convoy Night Market Treats San Diegans to Global Cuisine

Pack your appetite and head to SDCCU Stadium on July 27 or 28 to indulge in this Asian-inspired night market.

By Carly Shihadeh

Inspired by the bustling street markets found throughout Asia, the first San Diego Night Market made its 2013 debut in the Convoy District, a cultural hub in central San Diego. With an expectation of only 2,000 attendees, the market actually attracted over 10,000 hungry San Diegans and has grown since, becoming the city’s largest night market. Head to SDCCU Stadium at 4 o’clock on July 27 (until midnight) or July 28 (until 9 p.m.) for an outdoor market featuring multi-cultural performances, interactive experiences, and, of course, lots of Asian-inspired food. Start with a healthy meal from Leaf It B or treat yourself to The Sticky Rice Spot. Finish off the night by indulging in a purple treat at All Things Ube or an over the top dessert from Waffleland. There’s something for everyone!

Admission is $5 and parking is free.
